Veterans Express
Vets Express is a grant funded project created to
provide reliable transportation for the over 50,000
Coachella Valley and Blythe area veterans needing
transportation to the VA Medical Center in Loma Linda.
Vets Express provides FREE round trip transportation to
veterans who are elderly, disabled or truly needy.
Transportation is provided in a Sunlink, comfortable, 42
passenger
van that is equipped with air conditioning space for two
wheelchairs,and a
wheelchair lift. Three time a day round trip service is
provided Monday through Friday from pick up points in
Indio, Palm Desert and Palm Springs. Shuttle service can
be provided from Indio. Reservations are on
a first come first served basis.
