Visiting Nurse Association of the Inland Counties
The VNA of the Inland Counties was founded in 1931 by the Junior Aid, now the Junior League, of Riverside, California. While there are Visiting Nurse Associations and services in a great many cities in the U.S., there is not a national organization that is a parent to all as there is with organizations such as the Red Cross, Cancer Society or the Boy Scouts. Each VNA has been founded and perpetuated by volunteer groups, such as our Board of Directors, and operates independently of other VNA's.
