Kiwanians serve their community by being involved with many youth sponsored programs. Serving the children of the world is the motto of Kiwanis. Provides eye exams and glasses for low-income children in the Palm Springs Unified School District. Helps adults who have no insurance with serious vision problems.

March of Dimes
Goal is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortally. Supports campaign for healthier babies, which includes programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy.

Palm Desert Shrine Club
Support the efforts to help crippled children throughout the country. Many Shriner Hospitals have crippled children sponsored on behalf of the foundation.

Palm Springs Historical Society
The Palm Springs Historical Society, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1955 by Melba Berry Bennett. Its purpose is to record, preserve and display historical artifacts of the Palm Springs area. The society is the beneficiary of two major grants from the McCallum Desert Foundation and numerous bequests from individuals who support the preservation of local heritage. Anyone interested in joining the Palm Springs Historical Society is welcome. Thank you for helping Palm Springs discover and preserve its heritage!

Widows or Widowers
