AMC
Cancer Research Center
In 1989, AMC became the first institution in the
country to devote its scientific resources entirely to
the prevention and control of cancer. Today AMC is
conducting important cancer research in the areas of
causation and prevention, nutrition in the prevention of
disease, health communications, behavioral research, and
community studies.

City of Hope Desert Communities Office
An office of the City of Hope Cancer Center and Beckman Research Institute provides
information and referrals for cancer, diabetes HIV/AIDS,
and other life-threatening diseases. Coordinates
volunteer efforts to raise funds for research.
