Jewish Family Service of Palm Springs and Desert Area
Jewish Family Service is a social service agency
committed to meeting the social service needs of the
Jewish residents of the Coachella Valley. To help them
function at their optimal level. The services of the
agency are open to all people regardless of their
religious beliefs. Services include counseling,
information and referral, volunteer opportunities,
community education, Jewish free loan, Tell-A-Friend
telephone support to the homebound, and geriatric case
management program with in-home visits.

Lifeline
Lifeline is a personal response service that helps older
people and people with medical conditions to live
independently. Available locally through the Mizell
Senior Center for a monthly monitoring fee. It allows movement freely around the
home or yard with the confidence of knowing that help is
there at the touch of a button!

Mizell Senior Center
Provides a wide variety of programs and services for
seniors. The Meals On Wheels Program serves 150 seniors
daily. Stop by for bingo on Monday or for our daily
lunch at 11:30.

A ten member management team provides leadership

seniors. The Office on Aging is charged under the Older
American's Act to do advocacy related to the needs and
