AIDS Assistance Program
The AIDS Assistance Program was founded in Palm Springs, California in the Spring of 1991. At that time a small group of concerned citizens, led by the late Gloria Greene and Jeannette Rockefeller, provided meals to members of the community with low incomes and suffering with HIV/AIDS. Since that time, the AIDS Assistance Program's client rosters have grown from approximately 20 to well over 450 persons and their dependents.

Provides referrals to case management, teaching safe sex and safety.

Bear Hawk Education Services
Provides HIV prevention education and free HIV antibody testing for people who are HIV Free. Teach about HIV and how to prevent AIDS. Offer free oral HIV testing. If test is positive, will provide referral information tot see that individual gets proper care.

City of Hope Desert Communities Office
An office of the City of Hope Cancer Center and Beckman Research Institute provides information and referrals for cancer, diabetes HIV/AIDS, and other life-threatening diseases. Coordinates volunteer efforts to raise funds for research.
